Standing with our communities in times of need
In August 2026, we provided emergency assistance to families affected by severe flooding in Le Myat Hna Township, Ayeyarwady Region.
The initiative began with our employees, particularly colleagues from our Hinthada Branch, who wanted to support people in nearby communities affected by the flooding. Staff and friends came together to contribute to the relief effort, while the company also supported the initiative.
Reaching 106 affected households
The relief programme supported 106 households in two affected villages:
- Thon Set Village – 60 households
- Tha Khwar Kone Village – 46 households
The support focused on immediate household needs, including drinking water, food, hygiene and women’s sanitary items, electrolyte drinks, candles, mosquito coils, medicine and other essential supplies.
Our Hinthada team took action
What made this initiative particularly meaningful was the direct involvement of our Hinthada Branch staff.
Our colleagues volunteered their time and worked together to coordinate the preparation, transportation and distribution of relief supplies. They travelled directly to the affected villages and distributed the supplies to the targeted households, working closely with local village representatives.
Through their efforts, assistance could be delivered directly to families affected by the flooding.
