Loan Officer Refresher Training Program
As ASG Bancorp is committed to develop our people to achieve performance excellence, it has successfully delivered a 2-day loan officer refresher training program in February. A total of 69 staff in the headquarters and branches participated in the 2-day training course with enthusiasm; the purpose of this training is to help our staff gain professional knowledge in the microfinance sector and become a skilled loan officer providing best services to our clients.
Our loan officers play a very important role in communicating with customers, delivering the most efficient, effective and high-quality financial services to our customers.
The training program aimed to introduce the basics of microfinance, including the latest trends in Myanmar, lending methods, client identification and group formation, as well as risk management, credit analysis, project management, communication and problem-solving skills.
The participants found the training program relevant to their roles and the trainer engaging, where many opportunities were provided for participants to have meaningful discussions and ask questions which were answered by the experienced trainer with his real-life personal experiences. The training ended successfully in 2 days and we believe that we will be able to apply what we learnt and deliver better service to our customers, while reducing credit losses through improved credit assessment.
