ASGB's contribution (COVID-19 Recovery Loan) to member's well-being

As we all know, it has been a difficult time since early 2020 for Myanmar citizens due to the COVID-19 and political situations. Almost all the Myanmar people have been facing health challenges, political challenges and financial challenges from those situations.

However, there are always opportunities in crisis. In order to help responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and political instability, we introduced the COVID-19 Recovery Loan program in November 2021. It aims to reduce the financial burden and restore the economic well-being of ASGB members who have suffered from declining revenues due to the crisis.

The program took 3 months, and under the COVID-19 Recovery Loan program, we have provided loans to its clients supporting them in sustaining their businesses and purchasing essenial items for their family. Through the program, relaxing loan terms and conditions were offered including the interest only option for 6 months and longer term option up to 12 months to make the loan repayment easier. As a result, ASGB members who received recovery loans obtained funds to maximiase opportunities to become resilient in this difficult situation.

We continue to work with our clients to help them overcome challenges and grow their business and wellbeings through sustainable finanacial investment. We are commiteid to continue to a positive change in our society.

Let’s partner with us and create a better and sustainable society!
