Donation to Monyo YGW charitable orphanage

We are committed to take part in making Myanmar a better, stronger, and happier country. A Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity is another way in which we show our dedication to serve the population in our business operation areas. Among the four categories of CSR, ethical, philanthropic, environmental, and economic, we perform philanthropic responsibilities to serve humanity, improving the wellbeing of unprivileged people who require support to sustain themselves. As one of those activities, ASGB donated raw rice, cooking oil and cash to the YGW Charitable Orphanage in Monyo on 19th May 2023.

YGW, Yellow Generation Wave, was founded in Mandalay in 2012 by a dedicated group of monks who do good deeds and take care of the nation’s abandoned children. Since then, it has developed into a registered foundation with a headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw and 28 associated monasteries across the nation, including 16 orphanages. There are about 170 children aged up to 17 years old living and studying in the YGW charity Orphanages in Monyo.

It was a memorable experience for us to meet with adorable children and support the orphanage.

“It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”
