Employees participated in MMFA training to enhance capability

In August 2022, our management team participated in the Leadership Training for Microfinance Managers organised by MMFA. The program is designed to improve leadership capabilities, inspire their teams and achieve outstanding business results. It enables our leaders to find new and innovative ways of developing and managing people, developing new business opportunities and overcoming organisational and environmental challenges. The program was successfully delivered over 4 days where our leaders learnt effective management and communication strategies, business planning methodologies and risk management processes. Other MFI participants also joined the training which allowed productive information sharing and discussion on the current challenges and hot topics within the industry.

Our Internal Audit Team and Finance Team also had the opportunity to attend the 4-Day Risk Management Training run by MMFA. The training aims to promote transparency, sustainability, and quality of microfinance services in Myanmar. The training covered a wide range of organisational risk management topics, which can be immediately applied in practice – improving our ability to respond to risks and strengthening our risk management system.

As a member of MMFA, we have access to a range of MMFA training to develop critical skills and knowledge applicable to the MFI industry. We believe that our employees are greatest asset of ASGB.
